Ruso is a very nice host. The rooms on the first floor can be reached via a steep staircase. They are spacious, simple and tastefully decorated. From the veranda you have a fantastic view of the mountains. You can use the kitchen and you can also learn how Khachapuri is made. The house dog is friendly. The neighbor's dog, on the other hand, is extremely threatening. If you avoid the back part of the property, you won't notice anything.
We were missing a small bedside lamp on the beds.
The approach from the west via Zhamusi that Google Maps suggests is a very poor and steep path. It is better to continue in the valley along the river towards Chvabiani and take the bridge over the river before Chvabiani. From there a paved road leads up the mountain. Google doesn't know this way yet (Sept. 2025)
